NYC Infantry Basketball Inc.

Because many of the athletic programs and services offered to the youth in NYC require families to pay large sums of money, these programs are not within the financial reach of many families. Inner City communities are often littered with high crime and gangs. Thus, children in these at-risk areas, who are not engaged in meaningful activities, are more susceptible to becoming involved in crime and gangs. The specific and primary purpose for which NYC Infantry Basketball Inc. is formed is to operate free programs and services for our youth, which build upon their character and create a safer overall environment. We will achieve our objectives by:

1)Creating athletic teams for the youth

2)Organizing games and tournaments

3)Distributing information on health initiatives and nutrition

4)Arranging community service projects aimed at building a safer community.
